My husband and I don’t get out much. So, when my sister said our daughter could spend the night at her house with my niece, we immediately planned dinner and a movie.
Dinner? No problem -Sekisui, best sushi, EVER
Movie? Hhhhmmm, last time, my husband chose the movie. It was not good. I won’t name the movie here since I want to act the way my grandmother said I should. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” So, I got to chose. I chose Inglorious Basterds. Love me some Tarantino. He is a bit off, but so am I.
Well, we got done with dinner sooner than expected and did not want to wait for an hour at the movie theater, so…we went to see Julie & Julia.
It was wonderful. Meryl Streep shows once again why she is one of the absolute best actresses in the world, ever. Amy Adams is, not to be too silly, ‘enchanting’. Please go see the movie.
On the way to our car, my husband suggested I write a blog about my job search. See, I have been unemployed since April of this year. Yup, 5 whole months and part of another month. And, he does not know about this blog, yet. I figure I need something that is mine, all mine and this blog is it. There are so many people out of work right now and I know many of them are blogging about it. I am not 100% sure anyone would like to hear from another person how hard it is to find a job these days.
Really, I am not sure anyone else is ever going to read this.
So, I think I will just keep writing for myself and to myself! LOL!
Well, have a wonderful Labor Day! Be safe.
